In this tutorial, I will show you how to apply mouse effects to your website using Web Builder. Mouse effects are things that follow the mouse when the mouse is moved across your webpage. In this tutorial, I will show you how to apply the following mouse effects; Balls, Magic Wand Cursor, Snake Letters, Swirling Balls, and Swirls.
You will need to start off by loading your Web Builder program. Then open a page of your website. The index or front page works great for this tutorial. Next, you will need to expand the panel called Extra on the left side of your

screen. In the Extra panel, you will see the Java Scripts button. Click the button and draw a small box on your page. When you let go of the mouse, a properties box will open.
In the properties box, you will notice many different effects. You will need to choose a mouse effect that you want to use. Here are the different effects and a brief description of how to use them.
Elastic Trail – This mouse effect has balls following the mouse. You can use any graphic that you want for this mouse effect. When you click the Elastic Trail, you will notice in the bottom right box a little button you can click. Click that button and locate the graphic you want to use. Then double click it. The new graphic will appear in the preview window. Place your mouse in the preview window to see the effect. To use this effect, click the OK button once you are finished editing it.
Magic Wand Cursor – The Magic Wand Cursor effect cannot be modified. If you want to use this effect, simply click the effect in the left panel and click the OK button to apply it.
Snake – Snake is an effect where text follows the mouse. When you click this effect, you will notice the text in the preview window. Below the preview window, you will see the options where you can change the text, size, color, and style. Click each section and change the properties in the drop down box below the options panel. Then place your mouse in the preview panel to preview it. Click OK on the bottom of the box to apply it.
Swirling Cursor Tail – This is about like the elastic trail above. You can select the graphic you want to use. You can also change the width and height of the mouse effect. Click the options in the middle panel and make your changes in the bottom panel. Click OK to apply the mouse effect.
Trio – Trio is a swirling type of mouse effect. There are three different colors in this effect and you can choose which colors you want to use. Click each option in the middle panel and change the color in the bottom panel. Once you have finished, click the OK button to apply it.
